Sound Control Matting is a specially engineered flexible matting
made of 3-dimensional polyamide filament structure with a
filter fabric thermally bonded on one side. The 3-dimensional
structure is produced from polyamide-6 monofilaments, welded
together where they cross. |

Sound Control Matting is Used as an underlay beneath hard floor
covering to isolate vibration and impact noise transmitted through
floor-ceiling assembly in both wood-frame and concrete slab construction.
It serves to create a structural void with air cavity that is essential
for isolating impact noise generated through foot- falls, falling
and dragging of objects and other activities commonly encountered
in dwelling commercial and office spaces. The performance and benefits
of Enkasonic is most noticeable when used with hard floor covering
such as ceramic tiles, marble, granite, stone, timber strip and
parquet.
